Summary
Both teams are coming off a bye week...the Wolverines are coming into the game 1-2 after their agonizing loss in South Bend to Notre Dame 35-17...despite committing six turnovers, Michigan's offense did show some signs of improvement as Sam McGuffie rushed for 131 yards and Steven Threet did a good job managing the game and moving the ball...Michigan held Notre Dame to 260 total yards while racking up 388 of their own...
Wisconsin stands at 3-0 and are ranked 9th in the A.P. and 8th in the USA Today Coaches poll...the Badgers are coming off a "muscle" win at Fresno State 13-10...Wisky had a balanced attack as they passed for 150 yards and rushed for 154...112 of those 154 rushing yards came from P.J. Hill (photo, left)...this is the first of three consecutive big games for Wisky...next week the Badgers head home to play Ohio State then host Penn State the following week...
