"Twilight" star Kristen Stewart appears for the first time in a music video in Marcus Foster's "I Was Broken."

The video shows simple black and white head shots of Foster and Stewart, who powerfully inhabits the few scenes she has.

No doubt Stewart, typically the alternative "It" girl who cares little for fame, did not take the gig for recognition or a paycheck.

The actress was recently voted onto Forbes' World's Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples list, along with beau Robert Pattinson.

Last year, the on-and off-screen couple raked in $40 million.

More details about Marcus Foster's Music Video for 'I Was Broken' featuring Kristen Stewart - Tom Sturridge was involved too!

This was the shoot that Elias mentioned in his tweet, August 26th

Marcus filmed his part July 27th "Just finished the first day of shooting for the video for my next single, early start tomorrow for day two! Exhausting."

On July 28th Marcus tweeted "I had such a great time shooting my music video!"

More details about the video:

Singer-songwriter Marcus Foster has been able to call on famous friends including the stars of the Twilight films in his quest to make the big time after 10 years playing in London pubs and bars.

Foster, 25, who has a debut album coming out this month, enlisted Kristen Stewart to star in his new video, launching today on YouTube. And growing up in south-west London, Robert Pattinson - Stewart's co-star in the vampire movies franchise - was Foster's best friend at Harrodian School in Barnet.

The Boat That Rocked star Tom Sturridge, whose siblings were fellow pupils, became another pal. So when Foster got a record deal and decided the first single, I Was Broken, from the album needed a boost, Sturridge devised a script and Stewart responded quickly to an email request to star.

"I called in favours. I'm really lucky," Foster said. The video was wrapped up in five days in Kentish Town last week. The single is out on September 19 with the album, Nameless Path, a week later.

Beautiful New Marcus Foster Music Video featuring Kristen Stewart + Screencaps

London-born singer-songwriter Marcus Foster is set to release his debut album, Nameless Path, on September 26, 2011.

The 24 year-old first came to many people's attention when his song Let Me Sign, sung by his old school friend Robert Pattinson, appeared on the Twilight soundtrack.

Presumably this is how Pattinson's co-star/ girlfriend Kristen Stewart, who makes a cameo appearance in the video for latest single I Was Broken, became both a friend and a fan.
