I was hanging out on some social media site yesterday, there are so many of them that I don’t remember which one, when I saw someone post about being angry that she was seeing so many Harry Potter 7.2 spoilers. I looked at this for a minute and thought “Why would she be upset about ‘spoilers’ we all know how it ends.” And then it hit me. She hadn’t read the books.
How so very American of her! Why waste all that valuable time reading a stupid old book with all those big stupid words when you can just wait and watch the movies. And then I got a little sad. And then I thought “Screw you and your ‘No Spoilers’ request you lazy ignorant fuck!”
Gosh I hope that person doesn’t read this blog. She doesn’t, it’s okay. And even if she does, READ THE BOOKS DUMMY, THEY’RE WAYYYYYYYYYYY BETTER THAN THE MOVIE! Seriously, try using your own imagination instead of having someone else bring it to life for you. You might find that your own vision of the books is so much more beautiful and fun than the movies. Well, for most of us.
Anyway, last night on I’m With Stupid, we got all random on your hot, shapely asses. We bounced around from one topic to another and talked about whatever we thought of. Including a little bit about Harry Potter and how ridiculously long the movies are. Then we talked about buggery in Ireland, summer activities and made fun of Fox News among other things.
So, if you are so inclined, we would very much appreciate your listening to our 45 minutes of internet radio magic that we created yesterday. And you can do so using the BTR mystery machine here or the hand Google Player at the bottom of the post if your reading this using Google Reader…
Listen to internet radio with Im With Stupid on Blog Talk Radio
And since I know you love Hermione, here’s Emma Watson for your troubles…
Aaaaaaaand for you ginger loving ladies who lust after Ron Weasley, here’s Rupert Grint…
And, I know we’ve already asked a lot of you, but if you could, please take a few minutes to send out some good thoughts and prayers to our friend Average Chick who is dealing with a very difficult pregnancy. We’re all thinking about you babe!
