The Crown Prince of Thailand -- European Jetsetter?

Bangkok Pundit recently posted a list of plane spots of the royal plane assigned to the Crown Prince of Thailand. Curious, to say the least. What in the world is he doing jetting around to Germany and Austria? Doing business? Something else? Does he bring along his 3 wives or does he do his thing solo? And who's paying for all this international jetsetting? The Crown Prince? The Thai people? This is really, really bizarre. Here's his recent schedule:

NOTE: According to PlaneSpotters.Net, CMV stands for "HM Crown prince Maha Vajiralongkom". For the best image of what the plane looks like, this picture here is particularly spectacular. The words written on the side of the plane พระราชพาหนะ which could be translated as "royal vehicle".
